在俄罗斯，列巴（俄语“面包”音译）是重要主食，口感外硬内软。

在过去，面包是生活的基础，象征着丰收富足；盐是兼具防腐和调味作用的珍贵品，象征着友谊长久。在俄罗斯传统文化中，主人迎接尊贵的客人会端上面包和盐，客人可以掰下一块面包，蘸着盐吃掉，以示尊重和感谢。

Presenting with bread and salt is a traditional way to welcome guests in Russian culture. This particular Russian custom is often practiced during official events and is offered to admired guests as a sign of their hospitality. It has been embedded in Russian culture since the 15th century with locals believing if people shared "bread and salt" with each other they would become close friend.

Russia's first giant panda cub born at Moscow Zoo in August, 2023, was named Katyusha. The name was selected among the votes in a name contest which attracted over 380,000 participants. Katyusha's father and mother are Ru Yi and Ding Ding, which were sent to Russia in 2019 in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia.
